Just after the Spring Festival holiday, Weihua has been vigorously promoting major strategic projects such as "Jiangsu Weihua" and "Zhengzhou Weihua Pilot Base".

Jiangsu Tongzhou Bay is located at the "T" shaped junction of the Golden Waterway and the Golden Coast, with the riverside facing the sea, east to the Pacific Ocean, west to the cities in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, south to Shanghai, and north to the hinterland of the North Jiangsu Plain. It is located at the intersection of the Belt and Road Initiative and the national strategy of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta.

Lusigang, as the starting port of Tongzhou Bay, is located in the core of the Yangtze River Delta, and its river-sea intermodal transportation function is prominent. It is a natural treasure for Jiangsu to build a deep-water port along the coast.

Jiangsu Weihua High-end Intelligent Port Equipment Project (Jiangsu Weihua for short) is located in the East Port Pool of the Lusigang, surrounded by the sea on three sides. It is the best area for large ships to naturally berth at Lusigang Port. The project covers an area of about 1000 mu, with a total length of 809 meters of wharf coast line, and plans to build 3 50,000-ton general berths. The investment of the preliminary project is 5 billion yuan, and it is expected to be put into production in June 2023, mainly in the design and manufacturing of port machinery, large bridges, heavy steel structures and marine engineering equipment.

Jiangsu Weihua is only a few dozen kilometers away from Shanghai, and it takes only one hour to reach Shanghai Pudong Airport and Nantong Xingdong Airport. Lusigang's developed transportation network has formed a pattern of "railway connecting port area, inland river to wharf, port connecting ocean", which greatly promotes the convenience of trade between Jiangsu Weihua and the smoothness of goods transportation, strengthens the close connection and linkage with surrounding cities such as Shanghai, Nantong and southern Jiangsu, and accelerates the strategic pace of Jiangsu Weihua's full integration into the integrated governance system of the world-class port group in the Yangtze River Delta.

Recently, the first steel column of the first phase workshop of Jiangsu Weihua has been successfully hoisted. At present, the project site is buzzing with machines, and workers are busy with foundation work.

The groundbreaking ceremony of Zhengzhou Weihua High-end Automated Parking System Project was held grandly on February 5. The project started this time is the first phase of the Zhengzhou Weihua Pilot Base project, with a planned investment of 3 billion yuan. The main projects include R&D building, APS production base, high-end APS and brand exhibition hall.
