Product Overview

A pulley block is an assembly of fixed and movable sheaves designed to provide mechanical advantage and change the direction of the wire rope. The lifting capacity and mechanical advantage are determined by the number of sheaves and the reeving arrangement. In a typical two-part reeving system, the movable sheave is supported by two rope segments, each carrying approximately half of the load.
